Description We are seeking a Document Management Specialist to join our team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, labeling, and indexing documents, as well as conducting quality assurance reviews. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Review documents submitted via email and batch them for processing. Conduct thorough reviews of scanned images of incoming mail. Label and title documents according to company identification standards. Investigate documents presented without a claim number and forward them to the appropriate team for review. Conduct quality assurance reviews of scanned images and confirm the validity of the claim number. Reject or return documents for rescanning if images do not meet company standards or if the claim number is invalid. Index and assign all scanned images to the correct claim number, using the claims management software. Input image detail summary, including date of service and document type, into the claims management system. Handle special assignments and projects as assigned. Use your skills in Detailed Review and Document Review to ensure the accuracy and quality of all documents processed. Requirements Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in document management. Proven experience in document management or a related role is desirable. Proficiency in document management software is required. Familiarity with digital filing systems and managing databases is essential. Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion is required. Proficiency in 'Detailed Review' and 'Document Review' is necessary. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with various teams. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities are essential. Knowledge of regulatory standards related to document management is a plus. Must have strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines is required.
