Lead Carpenter; Carpenter Apprentice
Small custom-build firm seeking experienced lead carpenter and carpenter/apprentice. Company works with innovative and highly skilled partners to build energy efficient, design driven single family dwellings. This firm builds above standard with integrity, using best built practices with a focus on craftsmanship.
Qualifications - Lead Carpenter
- 5+ years experience as a carpenter
- Punctual, self driven, dependable and consistent
- Own and maintain a full set of tools in safe operating condition
- Comfortability with reading, interpreting, and following blueprints, technical diagrams, and architectural drawings
- Comfortable using ladders and scaffolding
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license required
- Must have cell phone
- Experience with leading a team of carpenters to facilitate multiple phases of a building project
- Work collaboratively with GC as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Pay depending on experience ($30 - $45 per hour)
Qualifications - Carpenter/Apprentice
- 1-3 years experience preferred
- Must own hand tools (i.e., hammer, tape measure, speed square)
- Desire to learn and expand carpentry skills
- Open to receiving direction/supervision from team members
- Comfortability working on ladders and scaffolding
- Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Perform basic through advanced carpentry tasks
- Pay depending on experience ($25 - $30 per hour)
