Position Summary

We’re looking for a special person to help assist the Procurement Team at WX Brands. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Procurement Coordinator will serve as a key supporter within the Purchasing department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Sourcing dry goods (within parameters defined by manager)

Data upkeep to contribute to material requisition planning (MRP) process

Create and maintain bill of materials

Responsible for the creation of dry good part code

Create and maintain assembly orders for upcoming bottlings

Responsible for creating and sending dry goods requests for proposals (RFPs) to all vendors, calculating quantities, delivery dates, delivery location and purchase order (PO) numbers.

Running MRP reports

Identify quantity and timing for purchasing wine packaging based on long range bottling plan

Preparing and processing purchase orders for all dry goods materials, monitoring inventory levels and determining purchase needs

Make sure all information on order acknowledgments and sales orders (OAs/SOs) match POs

Maintain PO tracking document

Prepare fixed asset forms

Update POs after bottling changes

Monthly PO clean up

Maintain dry goods delivery timing by tracking shipment/transfers and final delivery. Using Open PO report in NAV

Manage daily dry goods logistics/transfers between facilities and reconciling bill of landing (BOLs)/transfers for WX bottling

Assist with material use up program

Attend meetings with vendors

Perform required administrative tasks; prepare required reports and correspondence

Create and distribute bottling pack specs

Assist Purchasing Manager with all related tasks

Building and maintaining positive, long-term supplier relations

Occasional travel to other facilities

Other duties as assigned

Experience:

· Skilled with MS Word and PowerPoint

· Strong Excel skills

· Strong organizational skills, problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail

· MRP experience a plus

· NAV and JDE

Position Requirements:

BA Degree or equivalent experience

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

2+ years of experience

Valid CA driver’s license
