ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - Law Firm
Our law office is currently seeking a qualified applicant to fill the position of Administrative Assistant. The Candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the law firm, including carrying out administrative services and providing support to the Principal of the firm. The ideal candidate for this position has legal experience, a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.
Responsibilities will include:
Complete administrative duties such as answering and directing phone calls and greeting clients
Prepare legal documents such as Wills and Agreements
Coordinate appointments, including all correspondence
Manage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence
Correspond with clients, other legal counsel and courts
Assist with lawyer time sheets and billing
Implement and improve upon administrative processes for more efficient workflow
Knowledge of real estate documents preferred
Applicant must possess the following:
4+ years' working experience as a legal assistant
Knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Outlook and Excel
Strong telephone and communication skills
Able to take direction and work independently
Highly organized and detail-oriented
