Janitorial/Maintenance

808 Building Maintenance & Facility Services, inc in Kailua Kona, HI is looking for one janitorial to join our 3 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working. Currently we are looking for morning shift on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and will be off on weekends.

Responsibilities:

General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.

Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.

Cleaning and stock restrooms.

Ensure doors are locked after hours.

Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.

Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.

Close shopping center at end of shift.

Repair minor details like;

-Painting walls, railings, and etc.

-replace ceiling tiles at tenants spaces or empty spaces

-replace lightbulbs

-repair toilet if leaking or not working

and etc.

Qualifications:

Work well when supervisors are not present.

Ability to lift at least 25 pounds

Handle basic maintenance, cleaning, and other janitorial work.

Basic math skills.

Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.

High school diploma.
