Kitchen Manager/ Lead cook Manager de la Cocina
Catering Company Looking for a Kitchen Manager/Lead cook.
Starting time is 5am most be available on weekends
We are looking for and individual looking to move to next step of Managing a Kitchen, we have a very strong team but we are looking for the next crew member to help us Manage the daily kitchen operations, we are a fast growing Catering company with 8 full time employes, the ideal candidate will be working directly with the Owner as part of the training.
Responsibilities:
-responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of Mexican dishes according to our established recipes and standards.
-The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to
work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner and meets customer expectations
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with catering events as needed
Experience:
- Catering experience needed
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Must be bilingual (Spanish)
