We are seeking a Greenhouse Cannabis Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our greenhouse facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in greenhouse management, a commitment to quality control, and experience working with cannabis crops.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the cannabis greenhouse to ensure optimal plant health and production.
Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for greenhouse activities.
Oversee quality control processes, including plant health assessments, nutrient management, and pest/disease prevention.
Track and report on all greenhouse activities, including plant cycles, harvest data, and environmental conditions.
Coordinate and lead greenhouse staff to ensure adherence to procedures and efficient production.
Ensure all regulatory compliance standards are met, including health and safety protocols.
Collaborate with other departments (cultivation, extraction, retail) to ensure smooth product flow and consistency.
Provide ongoing training and development for greenhouse staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in greenhouse management, preferably within the cannabis industry.
Strong knowledge of cannabis cultivation techniques, environmental controls, and pest management.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency.
Experience in writing and maintaining SOPs.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Strong reporting and documentation skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
Dependable, responsible, and professional with strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with cannabis industry compliance and regulations.
Experience with greenhouse automation systems.
Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field.
