In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager of Procurement Solutions and be primarily responsible for supporting the execution of designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring procurement capabilities. Join our team and be part of the most exciting work at Caterpillar!What You Will Do: Develop and enhance the Enterprise Supplier Risk and Response Management (SRRM) process to ensure unified VOB/VOC requirements and drive business adoption. Connect the Sense-Analyze-Respond process and regional insights to global risk prioritization. Enhance Supplier Performance Index. Develop and institutionalize the Supplier Predictive index. Drive visibility/insights/efficiency through alignment of technology roadmap Ensure governance with the user community to drive a sustainable process for partner success. Inspire and align with highly effective regional teams to integrate supplier risk and response management activities across SPPD, procurement, supply chain/operations, transportation and others.Education Requirement: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityWhat Skills You Will Have:Business Process Improvement: Gathers data for use in the analysis of business processes. Illustrates problems, opportunities, and methods for improving existing business processes. Suggests ways to reduce variation and/or waste in processes. Helps evaluate what factors should be addressed in the change program. Participates in requirements analysis for process changes. Project management backgroundData Analytics: Collects required data through various data sources and documents them for evaluating trends and activities. Assists in preparing charts, graphs, tables, and other tools to represent the results obtained from data analysis. Researches business-related data, analyzes, interprets, and presents findings to management. Recognizes and assesses problems, opportunities, and methods for improving existing business performance. Utilizes designated data analysis software to analyze the data.Effective Communications: Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviors without offending the recipient. Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness. Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work. Avoids technical jargon when inappropriate.
