Busy Concord Accounting/Tax Prep firm seeks a part-time, full-charge bookkeeper who can hit the ground running.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an IN-PERSON position in Concord, CA; we need someone IN THE OFFICE Monday-Friday, 4-5 hours per day. There is NO POSSIBILITY OF REMOTE WORK.

Requirements: 3+ years’ experience; working knowledge of accounting principles, cash and accrual methods. Must be proficient with Qkbooks Desktop and Online as well as MS Office; must be detail-oriented and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities: General Ledger (accrual and cash accounting); deposits, transfers and bank reconciliations; prepare financials; data entry; general journal entries. PLEASE NOTE: You will be working with multiple clients, so the ability to switch from client to client within the same day is vital.

Pay rate commensurate with experience.

20+ hours/week, Monday-Friday. Typical start time is 8:30-9:30, but there is some flexibility.
