Pizza Kitchen Employee Needed

La Calavera Pizza is hiring a support position employee/pizza cook. We've recently begun offering lunch and are now open 5 days a week, Wednesday-Sunday, and we're looking for the right hard-working, food-loving person to join the team. This position is part-time but is likely to lead to full-time employment if desired.

The support position in our kitchen entails the following:

boxing and slicing pizzas

learning how to use the ovens- pulling out food that's ready, rotating pizzas inside the oven to ensure even cooking, setting timers, etc

washing dishes

prepping ingredients

folding pizza boxes

assisting pizza cooks during service

eventually learning to build pizzas in order to assist during peak volume

Candidates must have reliable transportation to work. Pizza experience is not necessary, but some kitchen experience is a plus. Shifts are Thursday-Sunday, 4-close (about 9:30PM).

Pay will depend on experience and how ready the candidate is able to jump in and be an asset to the team. Once fully trained, this position is tipped. Please respond to this post with your work experience/resume and hours of availability. Thank you!
