Administrative Assistant for busy restaurant group
Hitchcock Restaurant Group is seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant to help run our busy restaurant operations office. We are a group of executives managing a group of five restaurants across Seattle and Bainbridge Island, a farm, a Community-Supported Agriculture program, and a wholesale/retail bakeshop.
A qualified candidate would have excellent communication skills, thrive in a bustling environment, and be skilled in Google Drive applications, (especially Sheets) and familiarity with Squarespace and Constant Contact.
Daily duties would include mail/filing, monitoring general inquiry inboxes, generating daily operation reports from point-of-sale systems, managing recurring invoices, printing labels, and keeping the office stocked and tidy.
Additional duties could include travel planning, submitting renewals for various permits/licenses (state and city business, health, liquor, vehicles, etc). Please have a willingness/aptitude to assist with all aspects of our business administration.

We do take hospitality seriously, and strive to improve our systems and execution every day. We work from the office; please have reliable transportation and a desire to report to an office with other humans on a daily basis. We prefer the dynamics of face-to-face, interpersonal communication over instant messengers and zoom meetings. We're in the food and people business, so it's important to like food and people. Also, you should like babies and dogs, as there tends to be one or the other (or both) hanging around at least half the time.
Our office is located off Day Road, in the industrial district of Bainbridge Island. We also work from our Winslow Way restaurants and occasionally our Downtown Seattle locations.
