Join the crew at High-Hand. Help us continue to offer the freshest food in Placer County. With fresh baked breads, leafy greens grown on site, and top notch preparations of our ingredients, you will be proud of every dish that goes out to our guests.
We are looking for experienced cooks who are comfortable with high volume restaurants.
Dinner Hours Wednesday-Saturday 3:00pm-9:00pm & Sunday 2:00pm-8:00pm. Closed Monday/Tuesday
You will work 8 hour shifts around these service hours. Must be available weekends.
Responsibilities/expectations include:
Opening prep work of fresh and raw ingredients
Best practices on safety when operating kitchen equipment and tools
Impeccable cleanliness of workspace and personal hygiene
Adapting to changes and request form management to better improve the guest experience
Helping out whenever and wherever you can
Consistency of execution of menu items
Quality control/testing of all prep and ready to serve items
Experience on grill, fryer, salad, and/or expo duties
Cleaning of workspace/kitchen at end of shift
Friendly and positive attitude
CA Food Handlers Safety Certificate
Ability to work on your feet for entire shift
Bonus Points:
Flexibility on scheduling to cross train for Lunch/Brunch shifts in the Cafe
