We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic, adaptive, and dynamic Executive Chef to lead our team for the 2025 season. This is a salaried, seasonal (May-October) position. Housing may be available, please specify in your outreach if you need housing assistance. Personal vehicle and driver's license is required.
As a key management staff member, the Executive Chef is responsible for back of house management at Abel’s Restaurant (On The Shore, LLC). The executive chef should not only display sound cooking skills and outstanding leadership but should also be an organized, passionate team leader with at least 2 years of management-level chef experience. They are responsible for supervising back of house restaurant staff and for management collaboration with the General Manager, Bar Manager, Front of House Manager, and ownership. The ideal candidate for this position must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor with staff and effectively using downtime. Strong leadership and personnel management skills should be accompanied by a culinary orientation and commitment to company values and image.
