Project Scope: Our client is looking for a Sr. Healthcare Facilities Project Manager with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of technology and clinical engineering/applications for Facilities Projects. That includes Network, Telecom, A/V, Desktop (all 4 Technical Resources dotted line report into my team), and work with shared resources who deliver Nurse Call, RTLS, Philips, Epic, etc.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Facilities and the Architects (usually ZGF), throughout the entire project lifecycle from Initiate, Plan and Organize, Schematic Design, Detailed Design, Implement, Simulations, through Go Live and Project Close.
Requirements:
  • IT Facilities and infrastructure experience, full lifecycle, working with architects and design through to implementation - network, telecom, clinical and pharmacy experience. Not looking for experience with Clinical Applications, this is an Infrastructure PM position.
  • Coordination and scheduling, communications, and good user experience satisfaction
  • Clear understanding of the interrelationship that scope, quality, budget, resources and time have with each other.
  • Ability to manage meeting drift ("stay on target")
  • Capable of garnering consensus in challenging circumstances.
  • On-the-Job experience using a PMLC for delivery
  • Instill confidence of delivery to clients
  • An expert in project team management including dynamics of virtual teams, matrix reporting relationships and cross-functional resource identification and allocation
