IT Program Manager

Description We are looking for an IT Program Manager in the tech industry. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The IT Program Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage project schedules, costs, scopes, and quality. They will provide reports on project timelines, potential risks, and necessary actions, utilizing data to guide decision-making and improve processes.Responsibilities:

Execute complex projects from inception to success by developing a strategy and ensuring effective execution.

Generate project plans and oversee projects to ensure quality and goal alignment.

Collaborate with functional leaders and business system heads to manage and implement a range of projects.

Use agile-like methods to achieve measurable business outcomes, effectively working cross-functionally.

Mentor peers, share best practices, and build tools to enhance project and program management skills within the organization.

Actively contribute to project success through scripting, system implementation, and user support.

Requirements

5+ years of IT project management experience in cross-functional environments.

2+ years of hands-on IT experience in areas such as OS, Scripting & Networks.

2+ years experience of supporting agile teams.

Proficient in Project Management best practices such as team building, risk management, conflict management, etc.

Broad knowledge of various IT problem domains.

Experience working in IT Operations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A creative problem solver who can generate consensus for complex issues among diverse stakeholders.

Comfortable with rapid development cycles and ambitious goals.

Strong attention to detail and capable of multitasking.
