Job Type: Seasonal (Until January 2025)
Hours: 30-35 hours per week. Must be available to work Black Friday and weekends.
Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic, proactive, and talented seasonal Assistant Retail Store Manager for our store in Burlingame, CA. This is a key position responsible for assisting the Store Manager with all aspects related to the efficient running of the store. The ideal candidate has a passion for retail, possesses strong leadership abilities, and is dedicated to delivering top-tier customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Store Manager in store operations including inventory management, cash management, and visual merchandising standards.
Help to drive sales through high levels of service standards, product knowledge, and staff management.
Responsible for the management of the sales team to maximize profits, meet sales and productivity objectives.
Help in resolving customer complaints and providing solutions that fit both the customer’s and company’s needs.
Assist in the planning and coordination of in-store events.
Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and motivation of store staff.
Ensure maintenance of store cleanliness and organization.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous retail management experience is preferred.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Strong understanding of exceptional customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends , holidays and Black Friday.
Must be comfortable with physical work, able to lift and move up to 250 lbs, and stand for extended periods of time.
Demonstrate a high level of integrity, customer service, and business acumen.
