Administrative Assistant
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is within the Court industry, where you will be expected to provide comprehensive administrative support. The position involves a range of tasks from managing mail operations to maintaining paper case files and other administrative tasks. This position is a part-time role with needing someone to work 10 hours per week. The ideal candidate would work 2 hours per day, Monday-Friday. Parking is provided for this individual. Responsibilities: Assist Coordinator with reviewing weekly reports to determine compliance with documents and determine what cases are ready to be fully briefed Request transcripts for civil cases that are ready to be fully briefed Label, file, maintain, and organize file folders Scan expungements to Share Point Maintain conventional exhibit volume cabinets Print and maintain miscellaneous monthly reports Greet walk-in customers as needed Other duties as assigned by Clerk or Office AdministratorsThis role requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and the ability to handle tasks such as Answering Inbound Calls, Data Entry, Email Correspondence, Scheduling Appointments, Managing Electronic Files, Maintaining Files, Scanning Documents, and performing Receptionist Duties.Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word Experience in answering inbound calls in a professional manner Proven capability in data entry tasks with high levels of accuracy Ability to handle email correspondence efficiently and professionally Demonstrated skills in scheduling appointments and managing calendars Familiarity with electronic file systems and maintaining files in an organized manner Experience in scanning documents and maintaining electronic copies Ability to perform receptionist duties as required Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
